Nancy Njoki Wairimu is a National Federation Leader from Mathare, a Muungano Women leader, and the treasurer of Muungano Wa Bondeni. She is also a community mobilizer with a background in community development and Community Health Volunteer.

Nancy is passionate about mobilizing community members around savings and organizing local community groups. She possesses skills in community organizing, civic education, and community dialogue facilitation. Additionally, she is a member of the Know Your City data team, which carries out data collection, mapping, and enumeration.

She played a major role in community mobilization for the Mukuru Special Planning Area and the construction of toilets in Mathare slums. Nancy's goals are to see her community secure land tenure and to expand the Muungano movement to accommodate more people who are likely to bring positive change to their various settlements.
