Legal exclusion and health outcomes report

This report examines how levels of legal recognition in informal settlements relate to the distribution and access to basic services (water, sanitation, healthcare, etc.) and housing in Mathare, Kiamaiko in Huruma, and Mukuru kwa Reuben. Additionally, it explores residents' perceptions of differential treatment compared to other city residents or residents in other informal settlements. By comparing findings across these settlements, the research aims to deepen our understanding of how legal recognition impacts health and wellbeing
